I ordered the large version of this f@*!ing bag in the hopes that I could use it for my 17 inch f@*!ing laptop that I haul around for work. The conventional bags that hold it are UGLY and huge and won’t fit under the seat on planes, especially the little regional jets. I can’t stand wheelie bags when traveling because I like to keep my hands free. So this bag is PERFECT. It has character, there are places for everything, I can use it for recreation as well as work. My only complaint is that one of the zipper pulls kept falling off, but I fixed that with a pair of pliers. So, yes, happy with my purchase!

First of all, I am not a hiking, biking, jumping, leaping, get on the metro and roam around Europe kinda gal. What I am is a 50's something busy, highly motivated, slightly distractible, therapist working (mostly) with kids and adolescents with ADHD. As someone who struggles with that dx as well, I am always looking for things that help me organize my belongings and my practice that are 1) affordable and 2) useful and 3) beautiful .So let me be the one to tell you, not many of these things exist in the real world outside of head. It seems I have been on the hunt for the "perfect black bag" for most of my adult life. So much so, that my family jokes about my quest being similar to Ahab in Moby Dick. Now, I can finally put down my harpoon and relax in quiet contemplation of my Great Fucking Bag. I got the Large version with USB and phone charging port and I am totally delighted and completely satisfied. I have places for everything I need to lug around, which can be a considerable load. I am contracted to a practice that has a shortage of offices and we have to switch out daily between appts. I have a place for everything: 15" laptop, folders, workbooks, tons of sticky note pads and art supplies. Nothing gets damaged or lost and lots of the kiddos think I'm the coolest therapist cuz of my cool bag, and well, the toys don't hurt either. I love, love, love this bag and recommend it to everyone, anyone who wants the greatest fucking bag ever, even us old geezers. :)

VERY happy with these; we're early adopters, having bought two (large; one for my son) early enough in the start-up program that we had to wait several months for delivery. They're the best backpacks in this size range I've ever purchased. I expect them to last a lifetime, great construction quality and materials all around. The pockets are a good mix, with hardly any exterior protrusion to snag on things and abrade (if you overstuff the outside pockets, most of the bulge goes to the interior).

I see in the newer version you've added a clip-on top handle; I could use one of those, but get by with that fat closure strap on top -- which, BTW, is a great spot to stow a rolled up jacket.

This bag is perfect! I bought it for business travel and train travel in NYC. It has enough room for a laptop, notepad, Manila folder or two, and it has convenient pockets.

I love the usb charger and the audio connection. The first day I used it my phone battery died right in the middle of scheduling an Uber from the airport. I just pulled the cable from the side pocket, connected power, and I was on my way again.

I bought two of the same bag. One large and one small. I received these bags and instantly fell head over heals. My coworkers and family thought they were so neat. So many pockets and extremely roomy. I am soooo glad that I clicked on the link. Thank you for making these extraordinary Effie’ bags!
